In Ayurveda, sleep is one of the three pillars of health — not a reward to be earned. Nidra was made for the nights the mind will not close: lavender and jasmine to soften the senses, ashwagandha and saffron to steady the system, and a generous dose of magnesium to release the body's holding.
Add half a cup to a warm bath, or fill the cotton pouch and let it steep like a tea bag. Soak for twenty minutes an hour before bed. For a foot ritual, use a quarter cup in a basin of warm water.
Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt), Dead Sea Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower + Oil, Jasminum Grandiflorum (Jasmine) Flower + Oil, Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha) Root, Crocus Sativus (Saffron) Stigma, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Powdery lavender, honeyed saffron and night jasmine over warm white tea.
The Nāya difference
Nidra begins with whole leaf white tea — steeped into mineral salt rather than sprinkled over it — then layered with lavender, jasmine, ashwagandha and saffron. Twenty minutes in warm water is enough to move the body out of alertness and into sleep.

01
Fill the reusable cotton pouch with half a cup of Nidra and let it steep beneath warm — not hot — running water.
02
Lower in for twenty minutes, an hour before bed. Dim the lights. Lengthen the exhale until it doubles the inhale.
03
Pat dry, oil the skin while it is still warm, and go straight to rest. The drop in body temperature invites sleep.
It begins as one. Nidra is built on magnesium and mineral salts, then infused with whole leaf tea, flowers and roots — so it works on the nervous system and the skin, not only on muscle tension.
